Summary
Another fantastic game that had everything from goals to tackles, in an almost carbon copy of the A game. Drighlington took a deserved two-goal lead in to half time but the second half was more even and the Lions scored from two of their chances whilst the visitors failed to convert any of their many chances. The young Lions fought fair and hard for a well-earned point that stunned the strong visitors on to their heels. Jacob came off the bench to score the Wibsey goals after Owen, Liam and Nathan had gone close. Darren made some good saves while Travis and Luke ran themselves ragged at the back to cope with the fast Drig strikers. Jack made some important challenges that kept the Lions in the game. Ben and Connor B made late appearances and made some brave tackles to help earn the Lions the second fantastic draw of the day against one of the strongest clubs in the league.
