Summary
A fabulous game of football ended in a four all draw with all credit to the players of both teams for playing so well in difficult conditions. The Lions refused to roll over when the unbeaten visitors took a three goal lead and roared back in to the game with a goal either side of half time and a wonderful finish saw Jacob score an equaliser and his hattrick in a great display that would have been even better had it not been for an in form Drighlington keeper. Owen worked hard for the Lions other goal and Ben was determined in midfield. Travis struggled against the strong Drighlington attack but stuck well to his task. Jack made some important saves while Connor B made some fantastic tackles and clearances to keep Wibsey in the game when it could have drifted away from their reach. Best performance of the season so far and the Lions go from strength to strength.
