Summary
Wibsey ran out narrow winners in a good old-fashioned local derby with both teams giving everything in a thoroughly entertaining game. Challenge can count themselves unlucky not to squeeze a draw out of it but on numerous occasions found Connor like a brick wall at the back, sweeping efficiently and breaking up most attacks. Jack made some great stops in the first half (30 minutes each way due to Challenge only having eight players) and then made some key tackles in the second period. Darren went in goal for the second half and made some good saves and his kicking game was very impressive too. Travis played well in defence with Adam in front of him while Ben fought hard in midfield and had a big hand in Owen’s bizarre goal. Shocked The referee should have gone to Specsavers! Jacob scored a fantastic hattrick, showing once again what a great appetite he has for the game. Nathan was involved in most attacks and though closely marked, he made some telling passes up front. Well done lads, great battling qualities today. The league starts next week so keep up the good work. Very Happy
