Summary
The Lions had a double reason to celebrate as they trounced BPA again in the second game. A second clean sheet of the day for the defence too was a tremendous christening of the new pitch. Darren was superb in goal. Luke and Jack were dominant at the back with Adam playing a fine midfield-sweeping role. Ben fought hard for his goal while Liam made some tenacious tackles in the middle and Nathan scored again to keep up his good ratio. Owen stepped off the bench to score a quick fire hattrick and Jacob nearly did likewise but fell one short. Travis and the two Connor’s also played key roles in the second half as the squad showed true grit in rotation and left the visitors with not many open doors. A PROUD DAY FOR THE LIONS!
