Summary
The first game of the season was good practice for the Lions to play as a team unit for the first time. Jacob was everywhere and scored a deserved debut goal. Jack was solid in goal. Adam and Connor B. played safe at the back. Nathan showed good touches in midfield. Ben and Owen gradually worked their way in to the game. Liam, Darren and Connor K. made telling contributions from the bench. Despite the result, Wibsey were unlucky to lose as they gained confidence towards the end and were well on top by the final whistle.
