Summary
The Lions won a hard fought match at Dewsbury with the home side left feeling a little aggrieved at taking nothing from a game that they produced the most chances in. In deed after Dewsbury took the lead it looked as if it would be a struggle for Wibsey but Connor B scored his first goal of the season immediately after that to set the Lions on course for a gutsy victory. Some of the defending was a bit last ditch at times but Travis, Brad, Connor and Jack can feel happy with only conceding one goal. Owen and Jacob worked hard for their well-taken winners but no one worked harder than Ben who won lots of tackles and possession for Wibsey. Cameron made a brief appearance near the end to help consolidate the Lions lead. After the two heavy defeats in the first two games of the season, the Lions are now W2-D2-L2, unbeaten in four and well clear of the bottom three as they continue to climb up the table.
